Technical Data


File Uploading

Uploads should be under 200 MB and have file names that are clear and descriptive.
Images should be a minimum of 72dpi and ideally not more than 2 MB per image. Motion Files should not exceed 200 MB.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND SAMPLES THIS YEAR. ALL JUDGING WILL BE DONE ON DIGITAL ASSETS.

Within the FAB Entry system, your ‘profile’, accessed from the top menu bar, is where your details and information, and all your entries and files are held.

To upload files, select ‘Files’ from the profile dropdown and create a new folder, giving it the ‘Title of Entry’ you used when adding entry information.

Click on the folder. Within the folder, upload the images, PDFs, videos etc that correspond to the entry.

All standard file formats are supported. The most common ones are listed below:
.pdf, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .mp4, .mov, .webm, .ogg, .mp3, .ai, .eps, .tiff, .sketch, .psd, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .rtf, .zip

The following special characters are not supported:
? [ ] / \\ = < > : ; , ‘ ” & $ # * ( ) | ~ ` ! { } % + {space}

Effectiveness Awards

You may only enter The FAB Effectiveness Awards if you are comfortable your project has met a good creative standard and / or been shortlisted locally.

For Advertising Effectiveness Entries please submit:

  1. Campaign Objectives
  2. Strategy for achieving the above objectives – describe how all the elements of your project/campaign interact with and complement one another in order to engage your target market.
  3. Detail what part media planning played in engaging your target market: Evidence of how successfully the objectives were achieved. Please include third-party verification where possible: Return on Investment.

For Design Effectiveness Entries:

Upload images / video files directly to the FAB entry system + Sales Results, Return on Investment with specific details on how Design played a role in achieving these results.

We deliberately do not have a word count. We would like you to tell your story, the way you would like to.

To Enter Effectiveness:

All Jury Decisions are FINAL Our Judging Panel chooses The Finalists and Winners and their decisions are Final.

Jury Panels may choose to Award in several categories or may choose to Award in only a few. Judges will have the final say on maintaining high standards for the year.
